SJB DRAMA

DESCRIPTION:

All SJB students in grades 3-8 are invited to participate in St. John's annual drama production, be it onstage or on the crew (assisting w/ the set, lighting, etc.). Performances are held in mid October each fall. Drama scripts for each year's fall production are typically available for check out/rehearsal at "Meet My Teacher Night" the week prior to school starting (w/ drama try-outs the first or second week of school)

SJB's Drama Club, an entirely volunteer parent-run organization, is responsible for each year's annual production, from costuming and set design/construction to sound, lighting, choosing the production, directing, casting, rehearsals, etc. As such, parents of students involved in the production are required to volunteer some time to the Drama Club and the production, be it assisting with ticket sales, hospitality, publicity, rehearsals, etc.
